Cleon-Fonte Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Slightly short of the required cylinder count, but the word 'shite' was invented for two-tone Landcrabs. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C827492 Ghosty, Skizzer, Asimo and 7 others 10

Cleon-Fonte Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 I'm sure there are far more serious defects he could find with it than the gearbox. Magnificent Rustbucket, Junkman and mat_the_cat 3
Guest Breadvan72 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Two cylinders missing, one year late, but still massively horrible in every way, and therefore correct. Bonus for being in Belgium. Seriously, get an STS. They're reasonably modern (though the youngest will be 15 years old now) in terms of things that work, like electrics and stuff, but they've got all of the correct period features (crap handling, massive fuel consumption, appalling interior, too large to park anywhere) of a mid/late 80's Yank Tank. Plus they come in a range of deeply unattractive colours. And you can get a decent one for about £1500. What's not to like?FWD. If you think you can stretch your budget enough, PM me Junkman, danthecapriman, Skizzer and 2 others 5

NorfolkNWeigh Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 There would appear to be only one answer, affordable RWD V8 that's not from The Axis countries and if you're not quite caddish enough for a Wardour St Bentley, why the real thing of course.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bentley-Mulsanne-Turbo/252756865500?_trksid=p2141725.c100338.m3726&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20150313114020%26meid%3Dcc8199ae50144a1991c4e49c8a56dad3%26pid%3D100338%26rk%3D13%26rkt%3D30%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D391692935950 The trades mans upholstery could be easily fixed with some of these Magnificent Rustbucket, Skizzer and Junkman 3
anonymous user Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 I think the gentleman should obtain a Stage 1 V8 Land Rover Station Wagon. I appreciate that he will not want to change gear himself, but the handy middle front seat should be occupied by someone to push the clutch and move the gearstick as required Junkman and Lacquer Peel 2
