The 4litre Beater Club

I am horrified to find myself owning a fleet of small cars , nothing over 2.3litres and only one of them having more than 4 cylinders. This sad and emasculating state of affairs I blame squarely on Brexit, Trump etc and will endeavour to purchase something befitting a fully grown ass man as soon as possible.

In the meantime could I gain honourary membership by using the old F1 half size engines with forced induction clause?

2.3 with supercharger

2.1 twin turbo

2.2 turbo

Admittedly 2 of these use the devil's fuel.

I am guessing that my XJ-8 will qualify?

If not you can stick your poncey, exclusive club up your bottoms and moreover...

My total is up to 2.3+1.4+.75=4.45 on just 8 wheels, am I in yet? There is a turbo in there for the forced induction multiplier.

4 litre V8 Merc with two turbos for double forced induction multi-pliers, but minus points for evil weasel fuel.

Jaguar XJ series one 4.2 manual - :-D . I think it's 1970, but I haven't seen if for a while as it's tucked up in the mother-in-law's garage.

The also rans are:

Merc CLK 2.3 Kompressor;

Land Rover series 3 2.3 petrol.

Must be a Benz, but C-Class, CLK or SLK?

I had a look at it six or seven years ago and even back then, it was merely suitable for ovaling.

It cannot be as bad as a certain R4 chicken coop...
