I had it in my 1988 Nova

I had it in a 1995 LDV - although they always were a bit behind the times...

Thanks very much for the offer but it's the rectangular one I could do with!

not to worry, it's in the garage if anyone else needs it

Apart from being illegal of course

Never had any problem in last 30 years running 100/90 watt bulbs in my old Frenchie, mind you LED headlamp bulbs are not legal either.

I'm a bit late to this thread (like about 10 years late!) and I remember the dim-dip headlights, as I had an "E" reg Peugeot 309 that was fitted with it in the late 1980s. I've recently found a YWC 10050 relay in my workshop which is the relay used to control the dim-dip headlights. I'm wondering if I could use this to giver my Daf 33 a dim-dip option, but cannot, for the life of me, find a wiring diagram to show how to connect the 7 pins on the relay!

Any suggestions, anyone....?

How about modern LED headlights?

Im setting off to France for work on sunday. New works van (Trafic) has LED headlights and i cant get a definative answer on beam deflectors. Id have thought no need on LEDs as theyre non directional in my mind but i keep getting conflicting info. Anybody able to advise?

You don’t need beam deflectors as they are a flat beam, as are 99% of LED’s.

Google found this, an y use? Only 5 pins shown, but 2 of the 7 pins are 'locating pins'.
