Looking to offload Mrs Thestags Daewoo. Up until mid this year it belonged to the MiL. 2 owners from new

 

32k from new. no service history because the local garage did that every year when it had it's MoT

Mine made a similar sound. Turned out to be the PAS pump, just needed a bit of WD40 where the shaft goes in to the pump every now and then.

well that might be quicker than grovelling on the wet ground with the car suspended. what a stupid place to put the alternator anyway ;D

BTW noise is from PAS pump.removed belt and quiet. will have a look at the pump tomorrow

Really nice chap turned up as promised on Sunday with his mate, let him use wifi to sort rfl and one day insurance and he left happy.

 

the epic bit is that he wants to use the car for local fast phood delivery but then the plan is to drive it the 2500 mile trip to southern Turkey where his family are from! 2500 miles in a 800cc Matiz! what a legend. he is fed up with local car rental when he flies out apparently.

 

His mate is used to doing the journey in 48hours flat mainly on redbull and rollups
