That is going to be tricky, I am finding it hard to find spares for my LNA. Have you tried a regular car windscreen place?

Do Talbot Sambas use the same windows?  They're not at quite the same hen's-teeth-encrusted-rocking-horse-poo level of rarity as LNAs.

Called our local national mobile windscreens today - their Bristol branch has one in stock and will supply and fit for 65 plus vat on Monday !

Who would have thought that.

Lucky!

Got him a brand new Weber conversion this week too .

I think mine could do with a carb, where did you get it?

Posted

Southern carbs - had their last one for 150 all in tho . Webcon had 16 in stock but wanted 157+ vat . It's listed for a pug 104 1.1

My carb has lost it tag so I am not sure which it is. Largactill found a new carb on French ebay for £100 including delivery but I can't find another.

Up to yesterday I was desperate to find a new carb but yesterday the guys hammered a socket on the stuck and broken adjusting screw and now it turns. They could not get it to run properly but then they found it had sucked a load of water from the tank so it is still work in progress.

Please can I have some pictures of your dads LNA, is it on the road?.

Not on the road yet I'm afraid . Dads carb was a 32 pbisa12 . Looks the same as yours

Dads idle mixture screw was seized and broke off that's why we went new tbh . He has taken his tank off and cleaned it as it was full of dirt .

When I said pictures I was thinking of the outside of the car, I did not expect you to have pictures of his carb.

I know but it's in the worlds darkest shed at the mo .

Carb was the wrong one ! Listing online says for solex pbisa but box says pbica so I'm hoping they sent the wrong one or will refund but not holding my breath .

I hope they do have the right one, there are so few LNA on the road, three I think.

I want mine on the road for spring time so I have told my mechanic I want it MOTed now, The pace things move at present "now" should see it on the road in a few months!

I will still have bodywork to do, but I will use it for a year or so first to enjoy it and spread the costs.

Bump for this as national mobile windscreen turned up with one for (I presume) a 5 door 104 . They have been trying all their usual sources and drawn a blank

Samba, 104 and lna only share the bonnet and tailgate. Rest of samba panels are different too 104 z and LNA

Windscreen may fit all but do not quote me.
