Eyeballing a "collection only" eBay listing. Anyone nearby able to collect and box (or forward onto M6 / M74 corridor) ?

(boxes are 410 x 305 x 165mm or 16-1/8" x 12" x 6-1/2" each)

"Pick up only and situated 2 miles junction 11 on the M42."

Remuneration will be given.

I can help with that (collection for sure) - I might well be the closest shiter - it's about 12 miles from here.

Did we all have at least one Bob Heath Visors sticker back then?  I think they were compulsory - I had one on my top box :)

Just outside Dublin...

I'm over on the boat in six weeks though. Haven't booked my boat yet but can go through Holyhead - Chester - M6 corridor to Carlisle and then probably onto Glasgow/SVM manor New Year. Diversion possible off route though.

I'm on the lookout for some Craven Comets but not new as I plan to rework the inner faces.

Bit of a tour for me! Offer there if needed for collection / storage mate.

I'm also only 20 minutes away, but rarely go ooop north any more. Probably Chester is the furthest I'm likely to go any time soon

As I say, divergence from M6 I can do.

Collection is the main thing if I winnit. Anything else would be a bonus.

If it comes off I'll put up a shitely offer once I know my route. Likely to be between Xmas and New Year.

Ha ha - I was in Dublin last week too!

I am over a fair bit - I always fly though - but could probably drop that lot in a suitcase if push came to shove.

Okay, right now. I am in Derby Midweek, and if you win the auction, I will go and get them and take them home to L37.

It seems they are more likely to be in Overseal (3 miles from M42) rather than Swad.  Should be about 15 miles each way from my hotel next week.

There is unlikely to be a charge.

Diversion for you from A55, would be up the M53 to the Misery tunnel, and though Bootle, Waterloo and Crosby, and to Formby. ReJoin the M6 by heading up the M58

I sometimes head up from London to Glasgow so if there's no urgency I could do a leg

Won it for twenty.

Is there anyone able to pay £20 and collect from Netherseal DE12 8 before Tues?

Can gift PayPal or bank transfer the £20 over immediately.

New plan: Bub's sending them by carrier onto Carlisle.

Stena want €110 extra on the Dublin-Holyhead boat to take a trailer. Belfast-Cairnryan boat has been booked instead as it's more frequent, shorter crossing, cheaper and free for trailers/caravans on Tuesday-Thursday sailings.

I'm possibily moving a Volvo 300 O/S/R door from Carlisle to Belfast but might be able to take stuff either direction. Only thing that needs to be worked round is ferry times.

Departing Dublin 0001 27/12 for Belfast

Departing Belfast 0330 27/12, Arriving Cairnryan 0552

Heading for Carlisle.

Departing Carlisle sometime 29/12 for Glasgow for 4 or 5 nights before heading back south to Carlisle (note this leg will be trailer-less unless there is somewhere secure to stash it)

Departing Carlisle 0001 05/01 for home

Departing Cairnryan 0400 05/01, Arriving Belfast 0615

Just seen this - can't see the ebay listing in work so no idea what it is, but I'll be in Derby this weekend, I live in Cumbria (opposite end to Carlisle) and I'm on the Belfast boat on 23rd as I'm home in Banbridge for a few days over Christmas.

And I'm doing all that in a Volvo XC90 if that's any use?

If it's easier I can pass the boxes to warning light in person who can relay to Eddie?

Just to clear up the confusion by tacking this onto my previous thread...

I'm OFFERING to take stuff on the route(s) in question and on the day(s) in question, hence Shiteley "wanted" in the first post has been edited to "offered" (although there doesn't appeared to be a corresponding "offered" post label)
