Obv. I don't want to flood this thread/forum with truck pictures but I have a metric shit load of them if anyone wants to see some more.

Being undertaken by a 6x6 Berliet driven by a small child using an iPodphone. Bad-ass.

On the way to Devon on Saturday, we parked up on the A470 for a spot of lunch. Imagine my joy when this smokin' beast appeared!

Thats a grand spot, looks likely to be a Cummins L10 or LT10 motor in there too - can't make out the reg number to check.

Yep and you could get 2 capacities of Perkins V8 and apparently a Cummins V8 as well on the mid-weight models 8)

Nice truck pics on your Flickr thread BTW Cav. :)

Terrier Incident post. I took this a couple of weeks ago, its in really great condition and used to be kept inside a vehicle hanger next to a petrol engined S-Series Beford "Ambulance". I don't think it has ever been used in anger but has probably been out on a few exersises over the years. It had a respray/refurb around 1990 when it was changed from municipal yellow to the privatised livery. I saw it still outside today so it may be up for disposal.

I like that. has to be seriously rare today, its a higher weight model, doesn't have the 7.5tonner's little piano castor wheels

ADH 921L spotted again this morning on the way to work, in Burghfield, Berks. Beginning to think he lives round here somewhere...

Also, mega points if anybody can work out what this is. It's sadly not longer there, but used to be when I lived nearby and cycled past from time to time. In the garage behind there's a red bonetted American-style "conventional" which I'd occasionally see being washed or serviced outside.

This is my old truck from the late eighties.

I used to spend five nights a week in that. Every week.

Racked up a quarter of a million k's in in. Twin diesel tanks used to take me from Thurrock to Felixstowe, Felixstowe to Coatbridge and back. Still had plenty left.

Cracking motor.

Yeah, we used to take the overheight containers (9'6'') Normal containers are 8'6''.

They wouldn't go through the rail tunnels.

That's Wesley Jones from Mid Wales

He was running a much older one until fairly recently -

He often runs out of Dolyhir/Strinds near Kington:

Spotted Britain's most photographed truck outside work in Berkshire earlier this week. Empty trailer though sadly.

That's Bob Carmichael - he goes all over the place in it -- he regularly comes to a sawmill near me (South Staffs) but when I last saw him he'd just been up to Scotland in it...

RR Eagles are claggers when cold. I damn near passed out starting a particularly bad army Foden wrecker from cold last winter - the smoke was unbelievable and with the exhaust pointing at the ground, below the cab, there was no escape. Fired on two and gradually the other four woke up.

Were Ivecoz ever sold in the States? This photo suggests so:

the Cargo was sold in the US, saw em meself in the mid 90s. On the subject of Cargos, we now have 4, having bought a chassis cab so we can re cab the spec as it wasnt as good as originally though..... The parts one only cost £285 (no body on it) and was only out of T&T last month.

Get some pics up Fred!

I actually saw a Cargo in the wild today and it was not only a non-horsebox but a friggin 3828 tractor unit  8)  8)  all signwritten up, I think "Rileys of Hartswell" and hauling a flat loaded with straw bales on the A61 just outside Chesterfield.
