On my day off, after finishing an ball shattering night shift I decided it would be a good idea to jump in my 800 and go and view a car that was 200 miles away from me in Cornwall.

 

Half a tank of fuel later I was looking at this. Many litres. Very comfort. Red.

 

 

It's a Sovereign 4 Litre - the one I wanted. Did I buy it. Of course I did. SHAMPAYNE MOWTOWING FOUR LEMONADEDE MONNIE/I'm setting my ring tone to the Minder theme tune/cheaper than a Mondeo m9 lol ur a loser etc etc.

It may have taken me years to do it, but I've finally bought my Jag.

 

Condition wise, it's better than average, and bloody good considering it's age and 160,000 miliage. It's slightly scruffy, but solid where it needs to be and has a history file as thick as Joey Essex.

 

There's a dent in the boot and in the panel just below the boot, and a lightly bubbly arch. The drivers seat looks as creased and worn as Clint Eastwood's face.

 

It needs however:

Four new tyres (they're legal but shit).

A service.

The bubbly arch to be killed with fire.

A damn good clean as it's very dirty (you're so diiiiiiiirty Jill) etc.

 

Only problem is that's 200 miles away as I went down on my own. And I don't really have anywhere to keep it. Minor issues. It may have taken me years to do it, but I've finally bought my Jag.

 

It just has to make the 200 mile drive home. Have a bought a big cat or a manky old moggy? I will find out soon...

I hate the number plate so it will going at some stage. Hopefully through an industrial shredder! Those JIZ EELS 887111100988E7E7EQ plates are a pet hate of mine.

No, but I reckon if they had brought him back, he would have gone for the classic styling of this type, or possibly an X350, over the ultra modern styling of the latest one.

The DVLA will reinstate the correct non balaclava semtex Rev. Paisley plate FOC AFAIK I will find the form u need m8
