Ok chaps, I've decided to sell my Nexia saloon.

Bought on a whim, it does everything asked of it, simply and without complaint.

35000 miles, good history do probably genuine, I've added about 5k to it. It always starts first time, sips fuel at around 40 mpg, is pretty zesty for a 1500 and whilst basic, is an adequate everyday car.

I've just cancelled the tax, cos it's just not being used. I tend to gravitate towards the Espero or one of the Uno's, so this just sits.

You'll notice I've barried it a bit. Cos I'm just a juvenile at heart.

The only changes are reversible, namely a set of old Keskin alloys - that I think suit it, but have a good value if you prefer standard ( hubcaps in boot, original wheels available)

And a few nonsense stickers, easily removed. Just a kid at heart, sorry!

So, what's wrong with it? Not much frankly.

It's had both its door mirrors knocked off, whilst parked at Shoreham airfield.

Kids, I guess. I've taken the passenger off, and still have it so careful araldite should sort. Drivers side was taped on, in a hurry, (t'was raining!) and has held for several months. Both are available on EBay, if so inclined

It's got a few scratches, mainly bumper scuffs that polish out fairly easily. The Sony Cd is miswired, only working in one speaker and dropping its memory after a day or two. Tiresome if used often, but adequate.

Central locking is strange in that they go down one at a time, but all come up together. Sticky from lack of use I'm guessing.. Cracked front indicator held in with a cable tie hasn't stopped it passing a ticket.

Mot'd to Oct or Nov, it's history shows it'll fly through. No rust that I recall.

So, all in all an ordinary very low mileage4 door saloon that's reliable, competent, out of the box. Your call if you want 'as is' or back on standard steels.

So here's the deal. £500, as is, where is (ish) by the end of the month. If it's sold by then, ( 10% holding deposit) it's yours whenever you want. Might be able to help with delivery around south, or Station collection etc.

Next month it gets a polish, service, new Mot and a price hike on Ebay. Yuk!

I'm based on the south coast, midway Brighton/Portsmouth.

Thanks guys.

Nice, always liked the shape of the belmont. Those wheels are class and really suit it, along with the flash on the back. 90s winner.

Thank you. Makes you reappraise an old Nexia, doesn't it..

Some live, some hate. T'was ever thus..

That's ace, I totally would but distance and lack of funds mean it's unlikely to happen!

Crikey, cannot recall when last I saw one of these (part from now obviously).

A worthy daily hack if there ever was one. GLWTS.

I'm not really a wheel whore, but if those Keskins are 15" and 4x100pcd I might be interested if they were for sale separately.

H'okay. They are, so if they don't go with the car.......

That green "Nexia" flash on the rear screen is one of the best things I've seen in a long time.
