Is this the world's favourite second-hand tractor?

You have no idea how old that makes me feel, when I was a kid the first modern* tractor I used was a 135. In mid-Wales a lot of small farms/smallholdings were still using Grey Fergies and Old Fordsons well into the 90's, for all I know they still are.

FathaN almost bought a Fordson Super Major for almost £6k off a neighbour last week, luckily he saw sense.

Maybe I should encourage him to get a £1000 MF 135 before they get classic tax or disappear to Africa.

My local scrappy uses one of those for dragging things around. They have a wee grey one as well, which I'm led to believe is worth big money.

I've seen restored 165's go for £8k plus now, My dad's boss had a 135 that i got to drive a few times as a kid.

I had this when I was 9, one of my favourite Christmas presents. Managed to find enough parts to rebuild it a few years ago, but inevitably it got dismantled and it’s now scattered throughout my son’s many boxes of Lego.

They may look nice but the one we had on the farm was hard work to drive, no power steering, gear box stiff, ridiculously heavy clutch, very little in the way of braking.  Oh and very very cold!

Dad was taken from the church to the cemetery on the back of trailer pulled by one though.
