Renault Laguna, drive it away £150 MOT drive home tax blah blah blah

Renault Laguna 1.6 petrol
5 door hatchback manual gearbox
MOT September
Taxed to get you home
Very good on fuel and drives great...
106000 miles on clock I think
Very comfortable and hasn't skipped a beat in my time with it.

Faults:

Central locking has to be worked from switch between seats. Driver's door locks/unlocks with the key. It's not the fob batteries as I had new ones fitted.

Bonnet pins fitted, last owner said he was quoted £300 to have bonnet cable fixed.

Driver's seat doesn't seem to want to move forward, or back.

Has been keyed by someone, bonnet and a couple of panels-before my time.

I think it'll want a tyre soon

You're unlikely to pull any quality MILF in it.

The battery is currently flat as I left the interior light on I think. Obvs. will sort that (charge battery) beforehand.

As unloved cars go it's right up there with the best of them, but that's the appeal of it to me. I'd happily drive it anywhere, we actually nearly went on holiday in it this year but I sorted the 405 in time.

£150, Chester. Advertised for more elsewhere, would rather a 'shiter bought it.

There will be no restoration!

These are really nice vehicles. Have driven a 2.0 Diesel estate before now. Those wheel trims need frisbee-ing into the nearest bin though.

* Wheel trim advice has been doled out before for a very similar vehicle with success. In fact, similar vehicle was wearing similar wheel trims.

It's not just me who's bugged by things like that, then.

Charged the battery up, stick it on and the car fired up straight away. It's actually so quiet I thought it'd stalled but was still running.

The exhaust has gone on my 405 so I'll probably use the Laguna until (hopefully) it's sold

Mk1 Lagunas are the cars of winnars. If my experience is anything to go by, they keep going and going until they rust out from under you.
