Genuine question, I vaguely do and am reminded of it frequently as there are stickers on the back of one or two local road signs (above is on the A140).

I think it was a website from 10-odd years ago, maybe more, with listings for cheaper cars. I believe the stickers were sent to sellers to put on their cars, I suppose the idea was they'd be seen out on the road and prospective buyers would then search on the site for them. The only car I recall locally with one on was a BMW 5-Series (E28 flavour).

Anyone else?

Registered in 2009 to Mark Thorndyke (well, now owned by anyway), renewed and valid, but going to a dead end :/ Waste of a good domain, that.

Wow, click the links. It's like a trip back into a world when nutters ruled the internet, not bloggers & google adwords.

The nutters are on the deep web.

Well done! Does seem to be a very South Norfolk-centric site, which would explain why I was aware of it.

I only know of "jalopnic" or something else.

That logo is terrible looks like deformed bee more than a car.

You only hear cars been referred to as "jalopies" in radio 4 afternoon plays (which are mostly terrible) or in 1952.

You also hear it in the title song for "Monte Carlo or Bust".

When London had two newspapers, that you had to pay for, Evening News had' 'Jalopy Corner' once a weeks.  Cars under £300; or something like that.  I sourced a Triumph 2000 Mk1 and another car that I can't remember.
