FIAT Seicento Sporting £50!

When I sold my Alfa 156 several years back I set the bidding at £2000 no reserve, covered my costs etc, I had several "marque experts" calling me and offering to "do me a favour" with various lowball offers, "the market is on its knees", "nobody wants a Veloce", "People are scared by the JTD" "wrong colour for retail, mate", "100k miles? Nobody will want that", "People don't trust the facelift cars, earlier ones are built better".

I told them that, if they were right, they should get a bargain when their bid wins it.

It ended with frenzied last minute bidding to three grand.

Sold, subject to collection.

This is yet another one of those cars that I really want but can never have as I've run out of storage, would never get round to driving it and have a wife that's pretty pissed off with all the cars I already have lying about the place :-)

Taken me two days to get the green light on this, she's just sighed in dispair. But no it's sold:-(

Hate those cunts - "any scrap cars wanted" when they mean "any retail ready cars with 12 months MOT and no faults I can buy for £4 and put straight up for sale"

Send them this:

"Hello mate. How much will you give me for this scrap car? Might need to be trailered away"

I wouldn't be sorry, saved me a load of grief in reality!

I've already got 3 projects...(shonky old Italian shitters that won't go) a fourth would have just added to the madness.

I hope he turns a nice profit out of it, he's a great bloke who's done me many a favour.

"Insignias got everything, shampoo to shower gel, deodorant and after shave and a yellow Fiat as well"

Little ear worm for your Friday there.....
