Anyone going? I'll be the fat bloke with goatee, no significant hair and a blue striped polo shirt.

The weather has of course gone to default setting...... cloudy and dull.

Outstanding........ now it is raining. Normal service has been resumed. Sigh.

Myself & Bro Nev and Fatha_Outlaw/Nev will be going Monday due to much bizzyness. may include Nev_Jnr, will attempt to get Nev to go in Teh Merc C43 silly-mobile.

We'll be 2 6 ft tall fatblokes, a 5'6" bloke who looks like Yoda, and a lanky streak of piss 16 year old. May also have small dog with a daft expression. (PBK I am aware that you've already been blessed* with meeting me twice...)

Was there....

I think more auto jumble stalls than last year, but slighty less cars. That might be the "Saturday Effect", as I turned up well late year.

Anyhoose...I saw a lot of small dogs, one even lost. And blokes discussing correct protocol for selling a gifted pair of wings for a mark 1 something or other.

Cheesy chips were good value.

The car park had some of the best chod...mine included (though I say so myself).

Actually the weather was pretty bloody good for the Pag. Not huge crowds but that seemed to be normal, although it has been 2 or 3 years since there last.I imagine tomorrow and Monday will see more bodies.

I seem to have bought my customary round magnetic bowl so I lose no more fasteners. Only 2 quid, so I was happy. More Ford stuff than anything else generally although saying that, there were a good mix of panels though, front valance and wings for an Allegro and some Hillman Hunter wings and so on. Loads of old tat in the majority of the stalls. The Cornish Pasty stall looked tempting. Spent a good while in my mates big green living wagon, he'd had new mirrors fitted and it is taking shape slowly but surely. Nice place to be. He has his Foden waggon and Aveling & Porter roller there. Many dogs were spotted including a lovely Leonberger. There was a nice Dachshund being taken for a walk and his lady owner was rather pleasant to look at too.

Oh, also got a pair of trailer mud guards.

A decent day out but didn't spend loads and my bloody leg felt like it was hanging off at the end of the walking.

That's good to hear. Used to be one of the best jumbles.  I think I'm swinging by tomorrow morning.

I'll be there in my A40 Somerset tomorrow. Parents are bringing the red Maestro, but it'll have to go in the public car park as it's a 1987 model, and display cars have to be 1986 or earlier.

Well, I went yesterday. Pretty decent show really, nice range of cars and the autojumble was better than expected. Weather started out cold and cloudy, but the sun came out about 2 and fortunately it didn't rain. There was the usual modern rubbish that managed to sneak in (standard 04 Fiesta in resale silver with supermarket dents anyone!) but there were some amazing gems, including a '79 T reg Polo that looked like it had just been dragged out of a garage and was full of junk, a MK2 Escort estate in the car park that was completely original and full of junk, complete with rust streaks, original plates and roof bars, and a superb, "oily rag" 1937 Wolseley 14/80. I've also decided I'd really like an E series Vauxhall Velox at some point, there were two superb examples there which I fell in love with!

Had a quick chat with Seth, didn't see any other 'shiters though.

Aye. I spotted Dick.

Agree that the autojumble seemed a little improved on the past couple of years. I bought a bargain of a mystery stainless silencer that may come in useful one day.  There was a Chrysler badged Hunter estate in the mixed classic area that was worse than mine so that cheered me up a little.  Nice to see a good Borgward turnout too including a Hansa 1800 diesel.

An "Enfield Pageant" sounds like a caravan made in the 80s.

You're aware of the game "anal caravan"? You just drive along the motorway adding "anal" to the names of caravans. "Anal pageant" is a good one.
