edit: now with 12 months mot!

Due to volvo need to let the saab move on

2001, blue, 2.3lpt auto estate.

91K, mot until november* , 2 keys, original handbooks. Full sized and space saver spare.

PCV6, No sump sludge, New tyres (dunlops), pretty clean and tidy, has needed a few bits since i've had it, but nothing drastic.

Aircon inop. Was going to get it charged after fitting a new pollen filter and sorting out the door flap dooberries (both done), but haven't. So who knows.

Having had a nose I think a grand is a fair (although not particually autoshite) price.

Nice car to drive, goes well.

lots of (reasonably shoddy) pics here

Volvo was an impulse buy and in the excitement I forgot to bung the saab in for a mot before transferring the insurance. Gah. Full ticket could be arranged if you want to buy it. It's currently uninsured and off road.

Personalised (to the previous owner) plate is NOT staying on the car, it will have an age related one fresh from the doovla.

Ah yes I see it now, I scanned for pound signs or numbers and missed that completely, Sos!

I need to sell this really.

listed it on the bay for a grand and didn't generate much interest.

As i'm clearly off target, a question to the masses....

Whats it worth?

Based on what I've seen, £600-800. And yeah, I know, it's insane.

But then my friends' 3.0 Griffin was £750, with epic history, few owners, excellent condition, new tyres, full kit including COOLED seats, last year.

I'm interested in it, it appeals to me a lot and I keep seeing Saabs going about and thinking "Mmmmm" - even considering the not-estate ones, but estate is better. I'd need to shift the 406 and/or Beetle first though. 406 is getting close to back on the road - reckon by the end of the week it will be trotting around again.

I paid £450 for mine (now eddy's)

Admittedly more miles but would have thought it is more of a £650-700 car. Bit unloved as not premium badge and being petrol.

Nice cars and would definitely have one again.

Truly, Saabs are wonderful to drive and dreadful to sell. They just seem to make half the price of an equivalent Mondeo or Vectra for no good reason when I'd rather have one than a Mercedes or BMW.

Meh. It is what it is. I guess they are passing out the public conciousness. Old and obsolete. (Which, to be fair, is the main reason I bought it - I wanted one before they all went.)

Will start at 800 here and 900 with offers on t'bay. Still high, but it is a nice one and I am still optimistic. (This will be beaten out of me, I'm sure)

And I'm not allowed swapsies either. Boss has spoken,

Although offers may well be considered.
