Can anyone help??I'm trying to find a model of a 60's/ 70's Royal Mail/ Post Office Van as part of a 90th birthday present for an ex-postie. All the ones I've found are 1/43 scale, but ideally I'd like something a bit larger.Any particular makes/ models I should be searching for??Cheers,Graham.

Theres loads of Royal Mail / BT / Post Office models but they are almost all 1/43 scale. [Gratuitous plug mode] Have a look at our ebay shop - linky on www button underneath my signature  [ / Gratuitous plug mode off]In the main they are all produced by Oxford Diecast although Corgi / Vanguards do a few.

There's a cheap and cheerful manufacturer called Saico who do reasonable models (minor, mk1 escort etc) in 1/32 scale. They do a Oxo van version, so you might have to re-livery it yourself.
