Scrap price of an OE cat

Scrap price for an OE Ford cat from an 02 Focus 1.6 any ideas. Asked scrapyard but they said bring it and they'll have a look. Hardly worth the effort if it's a £5...

The cat and battery are probably worth more than the bridge price of the whole car!

Petrol ones are usually worth crap all but there are some oddities. Avoid the scrap man as he won't have a clue. Get the code off it and check old ebay auctions for a sold price, also ring EMR ( European metal recyclers) with the code and ask them to get a price for you as they have a cat ninja based in Manchester. I have his mobile number if you get stuck.

There's an EMR about 3 miles from my house. I'll post a picture if that helps. If it's worth a fiver or something I'll just sling it.
