Possibly. What is the crack with helmets again? Tiny racecar may require one...

  • Helmets - 1/4 Mile Drag Strip
  • Helmets are compulsory on the 1/4 mile drag strip for any soft top vehicles or vehicles whose Terminal velocity is 120mph or higher. We strongly recommend that all participants use a helmet.

Also...

I may or may not be there. May have sold the turbo brick by then.

Can I rent or borrow a helmet?

Or do you guys in tin-tops go bareheaded?

most folk run bare headed, but my brother and I use wur helmets.

welcome to borrow from us when running if you want

Terminal velocity of the council estate was about 71mph over the 1/4 mile. I didn't bother with a helmet as I'd have done more damage to Fife than Fife would have done to me.

I'm almost certain I saw no-one driving a roofed vehicle wearing a helmet last time, irrespective of potential speed.

Most importantly, helmets restrict the ability to munch steak and haggis pie, as I believe Ayrton Senna also bemoaned.

They don't like people sitting in the back though, as I found out.

As luck would have it I have a full face helmet, complete with certification. For downhill mountain biking...

The guy in the Skyline did, but then he was a drift guy. He set the third fastest time ever at about 155 terminal speed

I may have to attempt to get the tiny racecar to actually give me full throttle. I may require new underwear.

Check your driveshafts, last tiny race car did 1 run at 34 mph and 1 run at broken driveshafts!

You definitely won't have any trouble finding the rest of AS, there's usually plenty of space around them too.
