I will be delivering this to twosmoke300, next weekend, but will leave the thread up and add the delivery/handover - probs.

I acquired this yesterday.

It belonged to a work colleague, who now has the ex-BourneIdentity Fiesta.

MOT 09/04/17

Taxed to get you home

V5c present

1.0 12v with non-rattling timing chain

108K miles

4 good tyres, with the rears being nearly new Uniroyals

Good clutch and brakes

CD player

RCL

FFSR

I took the Corsa for an MOT this afternoon (old one expired tomorrow), and it passed with only an advisory for slight play in the O/S/F drop link.

It is sound underneath, with recent rear springs, good exhaust, brake and fuel lines etc.

The interior appears fine, with only a worn gear gaiter to report and the exterior is presentable enough, with only the odd little war wound and a patch of surface rust on the O/S door.

It goes and stops fine, but the dashboard does rattle its tits off.

BONUS*

Being the lowly 'Comfort' model, it comes with keep fit windows and mirrors, and some badman has added gangsta tintz to the rear windows to aid child transporting and/or dogging abilities.

As mentioned, it comes with a full MOT, and is in fine fettle, where it counts.

When it has failed or been advised in the past, it has only been for wear and tear reasons (bushes, TRE's, tyres...)

I am after £300 for it. Located in DH5.

Local to Sunderland/Durham/Newcastle.

-----------------------------------

Ideally I want shot of this within a week, as I am buying another car next Saturday (a modern to repair the engine).

This means I will be travelling to Somerset Friday afternoon/evening, so can A-Frame the Corsa and deliver/meet anywhere along the way, if required.

Purfect 4 redtop m9

Shuma, there can't be many left with the steelie/hub cap combo like this bad lad?

If you're coming to Somerset, buy my Omega..........................

I have one of these, they are not a bad little car all told, I was quite impressed with the noise the engine makes, it should sell quickly at that price if you put it on your local facebook selling pages, Ideal learner biffabout.

The vehicle in question is a Voxarl, bud sadly not your land yacht.

This will make it 3 Griffin's to flip in a row for me. :|

Cheers, mate.

I am going to give it a little while on here, first.

Anything to avoid Facey and Bumfree etc.

Cheers fellas.

They aren't bad motors, for a few quid.

My sister had a 2003 1200 SXi from new, and it was a great car.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Just realised that this has the standard bonny coloured wing mirror, and a black one.

Posted

I'm very keen on this - just thinking about logistics to cornwall

I will be in Taunton from Friday evening until Sunday morning, and can bring it down, so about 70 miles away from you?

Any good?

Bloody good buy for that money.

Lol I know very little about it tbh, except that the lad at work who owned it previously has been using it for at least a year, and aside from the lack of creature comforts, has reported no issues.

Sounds like BS, but it was the tester who commented on the quiet chain. :-)

Incidentally, I am down there to pick up a Corsa D - with fucked chain. Lol.

If you want it though mate, I will mark it as sold.

Ace. Consider it yours.

Will PM you in the week and swap numbers etc. Cool?

Aye, it would be.

What's the score with the Puma?

The people I am buying the terminal Corsa D from are in need of a new/cheap car.

It's got a for sale ad on here - will get pics on Monday . Price is open to offers

Timing chains rattles aren't as common as some would suggest. I'd still have several oil pressure switches in the boot though!

The annoying thing is is that I'm off to Taunton in 10 mins with a spare driver ! O well

As suspected - engine sounds like a skeleton having a wank in a filing cabinet once it's warm .

Oh well ðŸ˜
