Ghosty Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 *screech* The Moog, Junkman, Cleon-Fonte and 1 other 4
Junkman Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 Tonight was the first time I drove the 405 in the dark after the shunt. The headlights shine into such bizarre directions that I actually don't want to get them aimed properly. The Reverend Bluejeans and Eddie Honda 2
The Reverend Bluejeans Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 Someone should be prosecuted for the appallingness of BMW dipped beam performance. Ask me how I know. What a tremendous bus the E32 is though. Junkman 1
The Reverend Bluejeans Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 They forgot my meal, plus it was my turn to order the big steak and get the small one. But it came with peppercorn sauce I didn't order, which I liked. Quit moaning, you got a free* starter. Conrad D. Conelrad and Junkman 2
Guest Hooli Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 Another good laugh, cheers chaps. The Reverend Bluejeans 1
bub2006 Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 I was busy sorting out the child of mine and swearing at a Toyota avensis after it shit itself on the a610
Dave_Q Posted June 22, 2018 Author Posted June 22, 2018 Are any NP regulars based in the vicinity of Macclesfield? Thought someone was but i may have made that up. Just won some roof bars for my multipla off of ebay and it would be gr12 if anyone is conveniently located to pick them up for me. Can compensate by means of disappointing resized wetherspoons dessert. Cheers!
Dave_Q Posted June 22, 2018 Author Posted June 22, 2018 Also, title amended because its nearly that time again.
chodweaver Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 I iz nears to Macc. PM me the deets and I'll see what i can do... Dave_Q 1
Ghosty Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 I could do with a lift home again if possible, as the 400 is going in to have its doors and bootlid sorted the day before, and I'm told I won't get it back until later in the week.
Squire_Dawson Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 I could do with a lift home again if possible, as the 400 is going in to have its doors and bootlid sorted the day before, and I'm told I won't get it back until later in the week. I am on a rest day so a lift will not be a problem, nor indeed a lift to if desired.
Squire_Dawson Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 A pleasure, just remind me where to come again on the day. Ghosty 1
Conrad D. Conelrad Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 FREE SHIT Long shot, but does anyone want a small stack of early '60s DIY magazines? I don't want to throw them away, but I can't keep them either. They're packed full of asbestos and fun. Also up for grabs: Some very good but heavy books. There's also a GPO dial phone which some teenage fuckwit (me) has covered with stamps (poorly), might be good for spares, restoration or laughing at. Can bring any of this tomorrow. Squire_Dawson and Junkman 2
chaseracer Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Could I take one of the Glancey books please, Peter? I may make it to Glossop. It rather depends on how the utterly hopeless dismissal appeal goes in Telford - I might just need to go home and drown myself in gin... Junkman and Squire_Dawson 2
Inspector Morose Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 I'd love the phone (Stamps on a phone - Post office telephones innit?) but there's no way I can sneak the bus off it's job to come over. Rats.
Guest Hooli Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Bloody hell is it tomorrow? I've lost track n thought it was next week! Bloody old age is getting to me it seems.
chodweaver Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 I think that phone is ace! Soz, I don't want it, though...
Junkman Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 I love DIY magazines were men paint walls wearing suits and ties and women wallpapering in high heels. Are they full with ads for properly toxic paints and thinners? Also the Taschen book about 70s cars, please. GrumpyCat 1
Guest Hooli Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Just a warning, there's an England game on tomorrow.Let's hope the sound is broke there too. Ghosty 1
Dave_Q Posted July 2, 2018 Author Posted July 2, 2018 Don't think they have tellies in wetherspoons, so we should have the place to ourselves. I should be there, although late as usual. Squire_Dawson 1
Ghosty Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 They've been doing World Cup matches with projectors. Also they do have TVs.
Guest Hooli Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 The Wakefield meet is in a 'spoons and that had chavball on. Lucky for us the sound was broke. Anyone know the time of the first serve? We could adjust loitering time in the car park to avoid the worst of it?
Conrad D. Conelrad Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Viz books pour moi m8Yours! I'd love the phone (Stamps on a phone - Post office telephones innit?) but there's no way I can sneak the bus off it's job to come over. Rats.I'm sure we can work something out, I've been keeping hold of it for more than a decade after all. Could I take one of the Glancey books please, Peter? I may make it to Glossop. It rather depends on how the utterly hopeless dismissal appeal goes in Telford - I might just need to go home and drown myself in gin...Yours! I'll bring them and hope you can make it! I love DIY magazines were men paint walls wearing suits and ties and women wallpapering in high heels. Are they full with ads for properly toxic paints and thinners? Also the Taschen book about 70s cars, please.Yours! ...and those magazines are JAMMED with unsuitable workwear and toxic everything. Junkman 1
Conrad D. Conelrad Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Anyone know the time of the first serve? We could adjust loitering time in the car park to avoid the worst of it? 7pm, conveniently enough! We'll miss a hefty chunk of it loitering. Junkman 1
