I didn't even bother to try and determine what the fault was, I could tell this was a non-technical seller, so I just made an insulting offer and turned up to collect it.

 

Belonged to a young lad, it was taking him to work until fairly recently when he got injured or something and left it for a couple of weeks. Didn't start after that so he abandoned it and got a speedfight.

 

The suggestion of wet wiring came from a garage that hadn't seen it. I'll be surprised if it takes more than a plug clean and a whiff of easy start to get it going.

 

It's a 4 stroke for added misery.

It's the market car park across the road from Wetherspoons / M&S food near the middle of Glossop.

 

The car park is free after 6 and there is normally enough space for us to all park together.

 

Approx 7pm on a Tuesday, itinerary as follows:

 

7-8 ish chat shit in car park

8ish onwards retire to Wetherspoons, eat slab of meat (Tuesday is steak night), chat further shit

(Optional) approx 11pm, wait for AA as you've broken your Citroen
