Is the sort of tight wad that does an Autotrader search for any make & model of car, £500 or less likely to:

 

a) have a HONDA CIVIC VTI, Type-R, VTI-S, JORDAN, SPORT MITSUBISHI FTO TOYOTA SUPRA, TURBO/NON TURBO, IMPORT/UK SPEC NISSAN 300ZX, ANY CONDITION/MILEAGE to sell?

 

be interested in some ole BMW that is actually £2900 when the quarter-witted owner has listed it at £290 so it appears in this search (not a typo - I quote "Price is £2900. £290 ono.")?

 

c) want a Land Rover Freelander on which the delivery is £299 (the price at which it is listed)?

 

At a conservative estimate I'd say the probability of any of the above statements proving true is going to be roughly the square root of fuck all - so why do these nob jockeys persist in doing this? It just means people like me (us?) end up with 12 pages of irrelevant cobblers to wade through for about three pages of yer actual shite.

Reading the ad it goes something like: Blah Blah Blah service history Blah Blah Cd player Blah Blah actual price £2300 not 999 Blah Blah Blah

 

Twunt! I was quite tempted to go there and waste HIS time, maybe see how many cups of tea I can wangle and test drive it till it's due another service then offer him the £999 he advertised it for!
