Lankytim Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Hi all, The clearout continues. I bought this last year as a project but I've totally lost interest and need to focus on other shite motors. One of the last built apparently, 96k miles the body and interior are both in great condition. the bumpers are scrape free apart from one little bit on the front bumper. Sills and underside rust free, Exclusive alloys, tyres could do with replacing but i'll supply a set of excellent part worns FOC. Drivers window is wedged up with pencils and it's recorded as damaged repaired on the logbook. Maybe explains why the bodywork looks so fresh. Starts and drives great but it's pressurising the cooling system. No mixing of oil and water but it's almost certainly the head gasket. Doesn't overheat but I wouldn't drive it very far. Suspension works perfectly, the previous owner was an enthusiast and the car has been through the hands of "Wolseley house motors" at some point, a well known hydraulic Citroen specialist. No handbook with service history at the moment, the previous owner promised to send it to me but hasn't yet. Only one key. This would be a great motor once the head gasket is repaired, it really is in good condition. NO MOT Price £300 ONO, location, Stoke on Trent. Pics when photobucket stops being KAK

richardmorris Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Looks, nice, being through WHM,would put me off though.
Lacquer Peel Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 That's a beauty. Head-off job is a good opportunity to fit a Bosch pump, you can use one off an XUD9TE.
Six-cylinder Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I would love an XM and this one has the right gearbox for me, but the logistics are just too much to overcome. I even have a friend who has a recon cylinder head to sell me along with the other parts to do the change but getting it too me is just to difficult/expensive.
dollywobbler Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Tim managed to get it from Cambs to Staffs. Transport isn't really that big an issue if it's something you want.
Mr_Bo11ox Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I'd love this but I have enough SHITE WORKLOAD on to last me 500 years
Lankytim Posted March 23, 2016 Author Posted March 23, 2016 Fuck the Lagunas off. This is so much more you. Lacquer Peel, jonathan_dyane and BorniteIdentity 3
Six-cylinder Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I'd love this but I have enough SHITE WORKLOAD on to last me 500 years For me it's 501 years!
Lankytim Posted March 31, 2016 Author Posted March 31, 2016 Still available, however breaking and the scrapyard becons.
dollywobbler Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 That'd be a shame. It seems quite tidy apart from OMGHGFKAOS. Sadly, I can't offer it a home though.
