Wanted Shitely collection: Anyone coming south from Derbyshire? (M1/A1/M11)

I've spotted a set of four newly powder coated 14" steelies that would be perfect for my Mondeo...they are £120 for four with tyres (legal tread)

 

 

Its just on a Mondeo Facebook group so don't know the guy at all. 

 

Would a trusted shitter be able to collect them for me from Rotherham please? I would courier them as soon as poss down south to Kent. I just want someone to check them out and make sure I don't get stung.

 

Would paypal you funds + petrol + some beer money.

Cheers, Bub is picking them up tonight for me (top bloke) from Rotherham and taking them back to Derbyshire.

 

Then I've got to get them further south....(another shitely ask or courier if needs be).

I bought 4 wheels from a shiter and he hermes'd them to me in 2 packages/2 tyres each, £9.99 a pair!

 

Just bubblewrap them up and slap a label on, maybe get them collected for an extra 36p rather than cause the old dear at the corner shop a hernia lifting them out the back

Bub's on his way to get the wheels - but problems on the A1. So I'm sitting here nice and warm while Bub's stuck in his 440 on the way to the outskirts of Rotherham.

I'm in Derby until Tomorrow evening, off to Warwick university on Thursday, then overnight stop over near Worcester before heading to Cardiff on Friday.  It's all south to me, but probably wouldn't be any closer to Kent.

I can have them in Thame and possibly store in the garden under a bit of plastic until SF if it helps? Or be another leg in the relay and get them to Marlow/maidenhead?

I can get them to derby. I can get them down to Kent but it probably cost a fair bit in fuel!

If not I'll work something else with Bub.

 

In the back of mind I've got a mad plan about hiring a van, meeting Bub somewhere, getting the wheels, going to Aylesbury where I know there are Mk1 Mondeo's being broken and picking up some valuable items* from my mother-in-laws in Romford on the way back ( )...

 

Bub says he has no urgency to get rid - and I don't need them urgently either. So even a couple of weeks time would be good.
