We used to have a portable lift when I worked at the body shop and it terrified me, cars always rocked back and forth when on it, so much so that my boss sacked it off for a 4 poster.

Great idea ! But would you need planning permission ?

that is a good question,we had a planning officer round 2 weeks ago,stating I had been reported for running a business from home,which im not.

im sure they would find some medieval bylaw to get you on though.
