18/85s only had three horizontal bars either side of the grille. And there was just one small hole behind them so the body colour was clearly visible behind them. 

The later Wolseley Six had four slats and had two holes for extra cooling (the radiator was behind the grille on a Six, whereas it was at the side on the four cylinder cars) but they were still clearly visible, especially on light coloured cars. 

And on top of all that it has an ADO16 C pillar!

Why would you even do that? I mean I only noticed because it is a subject I'm very familiar with, which makes me wonder how many mistakes there are on all the other pictures that I'm less familiar with. Basically you have to assume the whole internet is wrong and it's only going to get worse.

Not only the things you point out make it look like AI. Other things are.

• The Auto Shop is not deep enough to put a car in.
• Did we ever use Auto Shop as a description  of a garage in the UK?
• Inside the Auto Shop the rack says Oil Can, eh?
• The petrol pump is at the wrong angle to the island.
• The BP sign under the canopy would never be located there

  However the water mark is from Darren Vel Satis. I thought they were a member here, but I cannot find them

The pump's turned at 90 degrees from the usual orientation too. Good spot on the C-poillar.

I'm not 100% sure, as I've not seen one with those large rear lights.  It must be a very late one as they finished in 1959 apparently.  Maybe not the standard body - Vignale?  can't read the script on the wing.
