1990 Toyota MR2

I wouldn't be too concerned if it didn't sell, but I'm considering selling this if anyone's interested.

It's a 'white' Toyota MR2 - the sills are rough, as are the rear arches. They were very quickly repaired prior to last year's MOT, I haven't looked at them since. I remember cutting a lot of rust out and welding in some sort of metal I bent to shape with a gasless migwelder - I don't profess to be a welding genuins, so welding nazi's STFU. Sill covers 'hide' the repairs. I bought a full set of sills last year though. I'm not saying there's not more rust anywhere else.

The exhaust is 'loose', one of the exhaust hangers broke off in 2012.

I don't have a lot of photos of the car, I should take some more.

Here it is in Dover at 6am a few months ago:

I've done 30,000 or probably more miles in it since I've had it, it's never broken down, the only time I've looked at the engine was changing the oil.

Wheels pictured are the ones it comes with. It's superb to drive. If you're obese or have a back bad, you won't get on with the car!

MOT until 28th March 2016, it's still taxed.

Some attendees of Chumley 2015 will confirm this vehicle provides a glorious way to woken up at an unearthly hour.

That's a good price for one of these. You won't lose any money on it anyway unless it needs loads of welding. I sold a white G reg that needed a bit spending on it for it's next MOT for £800 last year. GLWTS.

If I wasn't still burdened by the same factors that made me sell it in the first place, I'd love to have this back. One of my all time favourites.

Isn't it on special suspension too? Worth XTRA DO££AR

Don't you need to keep this for moving house with, Dave?

LOL No, I'll buy a cheap estate, I'm just shifting all my belongings into my garage - I don't have a lot tbh - nothing will fit in it ever.

Did I buy it off you? The name looks familiar!

It has lowered springs and dampers, also upgraded ignition box thing and assume uprated cams (stamped with TRD or similar).

If it doesn't sell it's safe to keep in my garage, £280 a month isn't too much.

Poker face.

Looks a lot better than most I've seen. White suits them too. Sure you can't keep it till summer? I'm sure there's be people fighting over it once the suns out.

Must resist!

Hope it goes to someone who doesn't break it or pineapple it, but does drive it, cos that's what they're best at.

GLWTS

Yep - or, more strictly accurate, you bought it from my parents who very graciously let it go green on their driveway whilst I resisted all common sense and logic and refused to sell it. Then, 6 months later, I realised I was an idiot who was never going to magic my own second car parking space, so reluctantly advertised it on the blue forum.

I think you may have even flirted with my mum. Bought her chocolates and everything...
