My Saab just met its brother

Just got the Saab back on the road as it probably needs to go, as storage is becoming a bit of an issue.

Forgotten how nice it is to drive, and the boost is addictive.

Was out and about doing some chores and called in at LIDL on the way back.

Pulled into the first space and there is a light blue Saab in the space opposite.

(Much cleaner than mine though as not yet had chance to wash and polish it yet)

Thought they looked a similar age, but then realised how similar.

Only one character out on the reg.

If I'd parked anywhere else I would not have noticed....

Mine's the dirty Aero (NCZ), there's was a 3.0 Diesel (NDZ)

Nice! Similar thing happened with Ma_Sterling's Micra, one Micra was 1 letter out, that letter also looked like it D > O.

I've had that with the mother's Bini, NXT to our NXZ, both from the same dealer, clearly in the same batch of early September registrations.

My cx e656ftf was parked next to e654ftf once. A 1984 20 Pallas and a 1985 25gti- both late registered by Citroen uk in 1988.

I used to own a Saab 9-3 with the reg LC55 ZZJ. I have seen LC55 ZZK and LC55 ZZL and LC55 ZZT. I think Saab UK used to register a whole load of them together when sold on fleet deals.

Minors reunited....Both were registered (very late after production - 1963 cars) by Westover Motors in Bournemouth but my black one was actually retailed down in Swanage.   Over 40 years later they met again at a Dorset Minor rally
