2 stroke working engine - motorbike moped ???

Recommended Posts

I'm after a 2 stroke engine, needs to be in working condition, make and model doesn't matter, something I can fix to a timber plinth for static use.

Motorbike, moped, even an old power tool motor (leaf blower etc).

Needs to be cheap and close to west London / bucks area.

Anyone?

Sorry I'm not close to your area but if no one else can provide assistance I may be able to sort out a scooter engine if any use and possibly old school lawn mowers. If any use ill ring my friend and see what he has

Facebook for sale pages and Gumtree a good bet, there's usually a few people offloading shit quads and mini motos quite cheap.

Thanks guys.

I've tried Ebay and Gumtree but nothing suitable on offer near my 'hood.

Cock, I pressed the wrong button.

The above kit is cool but about £50 more than I'd like to pay.

May one, who lives not far from West London and has a load of bits of engine crap in 't garage,  enquire what it is for?

I have three garages and four cars (including my wife's BMW) but I can't tinker with any of them. I would like to fix up a static engine in one of my sheds and see where it takes me. My son has just turned six and it would be a good way to introduce him to engineering.

Any more info about the strimmer motor?

Both strimmers run one is 25cc and I think the other is 35cc, both are cheep and cheerfully makes

Either of the smaller ones would do I guess.

How much for p&p?

Yes both pull start, I will take the motor of the shaft and weigh it for a postage quote tommorow if you like.
