Either through any resistance she had to shite, having been progressively worn away over the months and years, or possibly from a desire to not be left out of the fun*, the treasurer at Chod Towers has seen fit to go out and buy some shite of her very own. And despite my well intentioned efforts to steer her away from the death traps that they undoubtedly are, she's gone and bought a...

Wait for it!

Well it's - something yank, with leaf springs, leather, slush box and a profusion of seat heaters and dvd players (3 to be exact, though only two may be found to work), a bald front tyre, an unruly brake warning light and a decidedly unAmerican lpg conversion.

Oh dear, she's got a Chrysler Grand Voyager, surely the epitome of thirsty, ill-designed and even worse-built stateside minivan misery

Here it is receiving it's inaugural and first-of-many visits to the pumps.

To make matters worse, the collection saga must be the dullest yet, the distance from sellers' house to Chod Towers (and our despairing neighbours), being less than 1 mile, including a slight diversion for gratuitous pez station shot. There was no ftp, scrape with the fuzz, or even confusion over which way is home.

I solemnly swear to try much harder in 2016...

I learnt how to do J turns in 1 of those whilst out in Germany (long nights and empty car parks do not mix)

Keeping stuff inside the onboard fridge proved quite a challenge too........

My Mrs has told.me not to think of selling my P38,as she has grown attached to it with its heated seats ect..

Well an engine coming adrift in an accident normally spells certain death for the occupants. In the words of Del and Rodney "Well don't bloody crash then!"

I think the doors pinned shut. Didn't stop me buying a 176k mile one in 2005, barely 8 years old at the time. Fabulous infinity hifi in it too. Obviously stranded me on the return leg of a month in France 2 years later.
