Sold! 1992 Honda Prelude 2.0 Auto

I've just taken this out for a drive to stretch its legs and test it out and I'm pleased to say the auto box is much improved, I thought it was alright before but now it's had fresh fluid flushed through it the changes are smoother, it downchanges more readily and most importantly it doesn't slip in top gear any more.  Money well spent!

Great news, the older Honda boxes from the early 90s are pretty tough.

Which ATF did you use in the end?

I have just been getting insurance quotes for this.... snooze, you lose!

Well bought, I am jealous.

I'm now discovering why motorways are so busy. The train is an outright bloody rip off! I am not paying £80 for two hours of train travel.

The perfect* solution is obvious, get a train to Hastings, collect my XJ40, drive it to Barnstaple and swap it with the Honda.  I see no flaws with that.

I think I've had enough of two-car-collection-capers sadly! Train booked. I recommend all caper-freaks bookmark www.splitticketing.com as it saved me the best part of £60.

For a double bonus, it might even be me piloting your train to Barney.

1702 First Great Western, tomorrow. This one escalated pretty quickly...

Not me then, because Tuesday is the new Saturday in my work world.

Glad you've bought the Prelude, if only to take temptation away from me!.

Reckon you could fit a starlet in the boot?

Sadly not. Clearly we're emptying the South West of all of its quality* vehicles between us.
