Anybody near St Helens?

I've bought a car from eBay and the seller is keen for it to be shifted sooner rather than later.

Foolishly I put a cheeky offer in anyway and it was accepted but I'm absolutely snowed under for the next week or so.

Is there anybody near the area who could possibly collect and store it for a couple of weeks? I would insure and tax it so no major issues on that front.

I can store it no problems. Would struggle to collect it from St Helens as off to London town on Wednesday

I'm in Oldham if you're really stuck for someone to collect it, can deliver to Moog for storage if that's a help?

Tuesday evening I can drop someone back if that helps (depending on distance).

Beyond that I am away from wed to Sunday but happy for someone to drop car up my drive.

Cheers guys - I'm just waiting for the seller to get back to me and then I'm sure a plan can be formed up. Had an offer via PM as well so we will see what the crack is once the seller gets back to me (i.e how quickly he needs it shifting!)

Possibly, do you know how far from the nearest railway station he is, and is he there tomorrow morning? Don't build your hopes up 'just in case' though!

I'm quite local but it would be stored on the road outside my house at your own risk, would need to be road legal and myself covered to drive it insurance wise etc

Plenty of stations in St. Helens, Thatto Heath, Peasley Cross, Central and St. Helens Junction. No doubt it'll be in Haydock. Can't recall if Haydock had a station. If it did it'll have been nicked by now.

Or it could sleep in my works car park not far from Liverpool city center

I am local but can't do storage I am afraid. So not much use. I could however advise on keeping safe , how many bodyguards needed if the car is located In Parr. If its anywhere near cement city we are talking daylight collection only and helicopter support. Possibly dogs as well.

Years ago driving a taxi. I got a job in Beth avenue. No answer so the operator said " get out and give them a knock" . Get out and walk around in the dark , not a fecking chance. I had no problem taking Dash Davies home to parr from crystals. But no one walked around Beth ave in the dark. 😊

Had a mate who lived on Beth Ave in the dark days. No hassle walking around there.

Dominic Way!!!! That was the other bit. I'd forgotten about that.

Beth Ave is all rebuilt into barret type houses. Then they put all the shite back in the new houses.

I do despair
