In my local town of Liscard, they put this up:

 

 

It was on the news as it was rated one of the worst Christmas trees of that year. I think the single string of Christmas lights complement the misshapen building site barriers very well. It symbolises Wirral Borough Council's executives lack of any shits given other than their 120k a year and huge Christmas bonuses. They really are a massive shower of shite. I think taxpayers £5.50 could've been spent better.
