Lexarse IS200 £300 - West Coast of Scotland

My brother in law is selling his IS200. He spent a shite load on it just before he bought a new IS250. The MOT has now ran out, he's moved house and it needs to go ASAP.

Before he laid it up a few months ago it had all new back brakes including callipers, back plates, discs etc. He spent a fortune on it.

It's got a 140k on it but from what I can see all it needs is front brake back plates, maybe a couple of tyres but don't take my word for it. He used it everyday for a year to do 60 odd miles a day without any hiccups.

The EML is on but it doesn't seem to effect how it drives  I'd be tempted to take it on myself but too many cars etc etc. I'm sure it'd do someone a good turn.

Be quick though as he's listed it on gumtree and will no doubt be suffering as a result. He's only doing this as he needs shot of it ASAP because of storage problems.

Bump for a good-looking modern car. Cheap too.

If anyone finds a cheap set of centre caps for these alloys, black or silver, gimme a shout. Ta!

It looks ace for the money, I would expect the target audience to be Gumtree though, as it's the kind of car favoured by the baseball cap and bong brigade.

I'm calling WBOD on this!  Anyone want an MR2?

Ooof, I'm not even going to pretend this is suitable for my needs (I know, I know, when did that ever stop anyone on here?) but that's a lovely car for not much cash.

Also makes me feel very old since I remember the boyfriend of a colleague buying one new and spending a FORTUNE on it.

Wow, I reckon I'd be buying this just as a modern runaround had this been a couple of months back. Got too many bills to pay so ayem aaaaht. Soz.

My mate is well interested in it but it all depends if he can get there with the cash first .
