chaseracer Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 OK, I've ticked the box marked LARGE-ISH MERC, so it's time to move it on. Prices of these are on the up, so I will probably regret this. It's a generally solid old beast, other than the OS/R wheel arch referred to elsewhere and one of the jacking points crisping up a bit. The front wings have been replaced at some point. Cloth interior in good nick and very comfortable. I seem to have mended the ATF leak. Currently on steels with very good Avons, but original alloys also available. Car goes very well; straight-six seems to have most of the horses intact, and the autobox works as it should in both modes. Acceleration is 'vivid' but mpg averages high 20s (got 32 on ShiteFest!) Sunroof and OS electric windows currently u/s. MOT March. Plenty of life left in this autobahn-stormer. First dibs to you blokes before I stick it on carandclassic.co.uk at £995 next week. So, when the time comes, can everyone please NOT mention lottery or raffle, just choose the option that avoids fees for both parties and state their username with payment.
