Just got back. Great to meet folk in a nicer setting albeit rainy and cold. Ended up in Bridgnorth town for food, drinks and banter. Great day! But had an interesting drive back via Highley.

Met at preserved railway. Didn't go on trains. Bacon buttie. Egg disaster. Talked about everything. Met Dodgytom who wasn't dodgy at all. Drank lots of tea. Got clagged. Fish and chips. Lovely.

But where's bub now? Is there a Picasso floating in the Irish sea somewhere?

(I can't take it for granted he actually stopped at Aberystywth)

Im guessing the woman wanted to see the seaside then..... ☺

I also have a hankering to pop to the Isle of Wight to play on the 1938 London tube stock they have instead of proper trains.

Did this 2years ago, great fun rattling along on the old tubes, cheap aswell.Only thing negative was that the driver we spoke to said they were running out of spares to keep em going so their time is limited before they are replaced with something that will be shit no doubt.Worth it for the smell and sparks from the 3rd rail,'twas magic.

Saw a dim pair of taillights headed back towards the M54 so happily followed Mssrs B7 and Racer in the GentlemanChariot through the dark and rain after getting lost in Bridgenorth when there was an uncertainty over a one way street so I went the long way back past the railway.

Both of them......

There's two seasides at Aberystwyth?

Good job it's low tide this evening, or you may have found your car had made it to Ireland after all...

It's very windy up here in the mountains. Sea has been making regular jaunts over the sea wall recently...

That's Llandudno...  ;)

Actually, Aberystwyth has at least two beaches, if not three. Not as grand as Llandudno though. Love it there.

Is that a stalkery picture of the couple having a cuddle, or is it a perfectly normal picture of the chap on the train getting a stalkery picture of the couple having a cuddle?

I just remembered I took photos, I shall go and find my camera.

The future beyond THE FUTURE is so intense they keep it covered up. This is like The Jetsons, only realer.

The recent past, trying to be a futuristic interpretation of the more distant past. END RESULT = BOLLOCKS.
