I'm probably a complete twat for looking through their pictures and judging them (people would look through shitefest pictures and call us lot sad bastards too, but at least we aren't absolutely delusional).

Indeed, Norfolk Ambulance Service used some. There was a thing in the EDP where they were too wide to fit down some Norfolk lanes.

 

They also used to tip over if cornered too enthusiastically.

 

I remember a load of them coming up for sale cheap in various back-street dealers in the early '00s.  Think most ended up as camper conversions.  NAS went back to Sprinters.

They used to have one as an on-site Ambulance at Perkins Engines. Sacked it off and got a Skoda Yeti instead

Hey gang, I drove this thing at a wedding on Saturday.. it's a BEAST. It's pretty pokey and sounds great, but handles like a canal barge full of cement and being LHD is a bastard to pull out of junctions with... All of which makes it great fun!

 

The bridesmaids loved it... it's actually a starcraft conversion, whatever that means...  Also it's more like an 1985 rather than a 1995..

 

 

 

 

I would deffo roll round in this (as I'm a massive sad case) but I suspect it would be fun until I tried to park it or something broke and I couldn't get the bits or I was bankrupted by the fuel cost. The guy wants 3k for it, but I've been told it;s worth closer to 1500.

Is it wall to wall velour inside, or wipe clean? I know they sound nice, but, you would have to see it sometimes. It looks a bit too John Wayne Gacy for my taste.

The full length shower screens they put in the side of these things look awful. Like a crystal chandelier in a semi.
