Wanted Wanted - Ford transit

The itch for a ford transit won't go away. Budget dictates a post 87-2001 model. Ideally would like to swap for my 1990 ford Granada 2.0 Ghia manual. Black/ saloon, 10 months mot and 56k with FSH, nice condition, recent tyres and cosworth 24v alloys.

Parts are getting thin on the ground body wise, my mate has a 1992 ex RAC van, took him ages to drop on some rust free barn doors. As people have said, they rot like fuck, I've had transits at 4 year old going rotten, god knows at 25 years old. Good luck though anyway.

I used to deal with a battery wholesaler.

They bought nearly new transits and put them to work carting lead acid batteries loose in the back.

 

I don't think many made it to 5 years old before the floor had made a break for freedom and the bridge beckoned.
