barefoot Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 If it was work, I'd be up at 0545. Commuting sucks monkey balls. Don't call me Monkey Balls. (You promised to keep it our little secret).

Guest Breadvan72 Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Up betimes, and by mildly shagged out Alfa to ye rural railway station for Chiltern chuffer to Banbury. Now on Cross Country Southampton to Manchester, calling at various places of the kind where blokes keep cars in sheds. Customary departure station shot, and deluxe Chiltern Line upholstery (probably better than anything I may be sitting on later). Breakfast photograph PHAIL due to rushing for train. More to follow... Junkman and Skizzer 2
Guest Breadvan72 Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Are you still in Cornwall Mr_BV? Negativo. I drove back yesterday in my wife's reliable but slightly dull Pug 206 CC (she made me keep the top up), after a few days chillin' at St Ives (Porthminster Beach Cafe nom noms). Cornwall appears to be Land O' Shite, BTW. skattrd and Junkman 2
Guest Breadvan72 Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Cross Country Luxo-scoff, breakfast of winnaz idiots. Junkman 1
Mr Lobster Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 I can almost taste the flavourlessness disappointment offered by that croissant from here. barefoot, garethj, Junkman and 8 others 11
oldcars Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Did the breakfast cost more than the motor your going to collect? Banger Kenny, Taff, Junkman and 1 other 4
Coprolalia Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Cornwall appears to be Land O' Shite, BTW. It's a motoring world Brigadoon. Cars are driven into Cornwall, only to re-emerge 30 years later with no sills. inconsistant, Junkman, Skizzer and 6 others 9
Guest Breadvan72 Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 The croissant was every bit as cardboard as the inner wings of the destination vehicle. Now in a cab from Stafford to a village somewhere... UltraWomble, oldcars and Junkman 3
Taff Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 pre-emptive strike you are collecting a Maxi 1750 HLS in Inca yellow, needing a wheel bearing and a an exhaust backbox Junkman 1

Popular Post Guest Breadvan72 Posted June 25, 2015 Popular Post Posted June 25, 2015 Clues posted too late -Totes busted! Mrs BV likes it. Even more amazingly, it works (100 miles, mostly motorway, no snags, now home). The seller was a fine bloke, and the car seems pretty straight. Essex V6, Vince70, nacho man and 51 others 54
captain_70s Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Tidy! Yours seems to lack the rust and poor quality respray that my yellow Dolomite has but I suppose you can't have everything... CGSB, DSdriver, eddyramrod and 6 others 9
eddyramrod Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Mrs BV likes it. I bet she doesn't let you open the sunroof though! Nice work, far more worth being up at stupid o'clock than the reason I have to.
Mr_Bo11ox Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 A yellow dolly sprint is Mrs Crabs favorite old car, she was on about buying one (maybe not a sprint though). Can I bring her round and have her taken for a spin in it? She even lives in Oxford.
