Single day car insurance

Recommendations for a company to use for 1 day car insurance, the cheaper the better.

I have used dayinsure a few times. Normally comes in at about £30 all in.

Generally brings up a policy from Aviva for me for about £25ish.

 

Does the job, gives you a 24 hour window to get your chosen shit heap back to SWMBO....

Another vote for Aviva, they've been the pick when I've wanted a day policy.

when I wanted to add a car i phoned my insurance co up, added the car for 1 week, total cost £9,00 for the wee!

With the (hopefully) impending collection of the Mondeo on Monday, I've been looking around at temporary insurance cover -  1 day to be exact.

All the quotes seem to be coming out about the same, about 22 quid - ish.

Can anyone better this?

Apologies in advance if this topic has been done to death before.

My insurance company, Saga, couldn't provide one day cover for me.
