Just picked up a vauxhall corsa B 1.0 on a x plate. Envoy trim so no such frivolity in it. Whining alternator and steering wheel is off kilter. Previous owner was disabled and got rid as the alternator started to whine so had a mobility car. £230 I paid for this lovely motor. Seems to have a miss on full throttle and threw up the eml a couple of times but lift foot from the carpet and it went out. Stopped being so prominent on the way home though so maybe just needed a run. Pics to follow tomorrow.

It's the dark green colour,cypress green maybe? Come with fuel gauge reading 20 litres so about 150 mile I'd hope.

Could it be as simple as a morning removing the throttle body and cleaning the fuck out of it, followed by the maf, filter, plugs then a good old hoon around?

 

Sounds nicely miserable for £230 though

I do love the non airbag steering wheel in these to be fair. Would like to retrofit a rev counter and maybe central locking due to it being a five door but that's not important.
