Good to see the 214 still going strong, it still looks really tidy too.  I saw the build thread for that one on RR.

 

Speaking of which, all your hard work paid off, the 220 is still rolling and now has its own personal accommodation:

 

 

I think it's time you opened up the Bollox Rover R8 Welfare Trust where down-at-heal 200s can be healed and rehomed with loving families.

The more I look at those pre-facelift models the more I appreciate what a handsome looking thing they are. By all rights we should be buying tuna incased in bits of it's carcass some 5 years ago, so it's brilliant to see it still running about successfully. Well played.

Lovely. Not sure any of the facelifts really improved things - with the possible exception of the smoked rear lights. An early one in Henley Blue really is a fine looking motor.

Nice to see the bollox r8 was saved and is being looked after! There was a taxed motd 91 216 gsi on gumtree a few weeks ago that was tempting me. Looked and sounded decent from the descripttion- all for 180 quid.
