I have to work all day Saturday. I am also skint. There isn't a rock and roll band playing within 50 miles. Gimme a quiz....

Arse.

Im at the caravan of Lurve all weekend so will not have viable interweb unless I go and walk up the hill (red line) to near where the gas tanks are.

The yellow circle is the fucking twilight zone as far as mobile internet signals are concerned.

This also means if I win the Mitsy I'll be the last person to know about it

I think Quiz 2.0 will follow a similar pattern to the last one. I'll post up all the questions and associated crap sometime early Saturday afternoon and then probably leave it until Sunday morning before collating the PM'd answers to give a chance to as many people as possible.

Anyone unfortunate enough to participate in the last quiz will know that none of the answers will be Google-able and very few will require any knowledge at all. Everyone has the chance to win some terrific* prizes. Well, everyone except Chaseracer.

One of the prizes is SOLID SILVER no less.

ELIZABETH DUKE???

Who do you think I am? The Sultana of Broonaye?

First prize is actually something nobody knew they didn't want. A mint set of four Silver commemorative $5 and $10 coins from the 1976 Montreal Olympics.

USEFUL.

First prize winner will get the choice to pick one of the even rubbisher runner-up prizes if he/she so wishes.

I've just checked online and these coins are worth over £30 in Silver at today's prices.

Welcome one and all to Quiz 2.0.
The rules are dead simple. Please don't post up any answers, if you want to enter then PM me them using the answer sheet I'll post up at the end or the back of a beer mat or telepathy or whatever. If you don't want to enter, don't.
The quiz will be posted up in several chunks which may take a while but once it is fully loaded it will be left up and answers will be accepted until probably Sunday lunchtime-ish.
There are definitely three (rubbish) prizes, details of the Top* Prize are a bit further above.
Norris McWhirter will be our official adjudicator. Any questions or problems, just holler.

Now just sit back, relax and enjoy the soothing penetrative rays of QUIZ 2.0.

It's a great pleasure for Bucket Inc. (Quiz Division) to welcome back for the second time a quiz show king, famed acrobat, noted gynecologist and all round good egg, it's Mr Henry Kelly.

Hello everyone. Henry here to frot your brains with new and unimproved Quiz 2.0. It's great to be back, things haven't been going so well for me this year. Shit got real for H Dog. I split up with Shanice, she was playing me. She's shacked up with that bastard Ted Rogers now and left me to look after little Morgan, Jamarcus Jr, Draylon, Shampiqua and Topsante on my own.
Things WILL get better though. My dragon is in the ascendency. My time is coming. All will feel my force and reap the whirlwind.

Aaaaanyway,  time for the Quiz.
I'll ease you in, slowly, gently and inappropriately, with some easy starter questions.

QUESTION 1 - We're immediately back to an old favourite with the first question. Yes, it's an unpopular return for Slightly Drunk Wrong Handed Drawing. Just guess the make and model. For future reference, make and model answers are just required in simple terms, eg: Porsche Niva, Jaguar Jimny, etc. No engine size/trim level answers required unless asked for.
So, on two separate occasions our brave quiz division got a bit drunk and drew pictures of cars with the wrong hand.
What is it? (2 points)

Question 2 - Make and model again please. (2 points)

Question 3 - I've got a big hot throbbing Dingbat for y'all to chomp on now. Just say (write) what car you see. (2 points)

Question 4 - A friend of Bucket Inc. (Spotting Division) recently sent in this photo. He is one of their numerous global sub-pappers who've been trained to go out into the world and hunt down good chod. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to have fully understood the concepts of spotting and Woollarding. Still a sturdy effort though.

06.jpg

Anyway, my question is simply this. What nationality is he? (2 points)

Question 5 - Unscramble the tiles to rearrange a well known phrase. (2 points)

Question 6 - Another SDWHD here. WHASSIT?

Question 7 - I sneeze a lot. A metric snotload of sneezing. When I sneeze next, where will the International Space Station be? (2 points)

The station is tracked on here . . . .

http://iss.astroviewer.net/

The exact position will be noted upon commencement of the next sneeze event.

Four points for exact country, two points for correct continent.

Cooeee Mark. It's lovely Dale here. I've been told by our invigilator, that sweetiepie Norris McWhirter, that all I am allowed to say is 'unscramble each of the clue words. Copy the letters in the numbered cells to other cells with the same number'. Sorry I can't be of any more help my little poodle but my hands are tied. Wink wink.

QUESTION 18 - This is a repeat of a question featured previously on Quiz 1.0. It's the Toy Cannon Distance Projectile Prediction Challenge. SNAPPY.

The difference this time is that instead of firing a toothpick, the cannon will be firing a flaming match. JEOPARDY.

The outcome will be videoed for the results show.

Here is the projectile that will be used.

001%209.jpg

Here it is next to a box of matches for scale.

001%2010.jpg

Here is the weapon in question, on some scales for scale.

The weather at outside launch time is predicted to be 19C, overcast, humidity 51%, visibilty very good, pressure 1017 Millibars, wind direction WSW 9mph.

The cannon exerts some amount of force, we measured it last time but someone forgot to go back and check the figures. What I can say is that during it's only test fire, the match went what looked like a good 3 or 4 worth of me and I'm 6'5".

So how far will it go? (6 points within 6 inches, 5 points within 10 inches, 4 within 14, etc.)

Also, for a bonus will the match still be burning immediately after landing (on grass)? Yes or No? (2 points)

QUESTION 19 - SDWHD. (2 points)

Sorry for any delay. There's been a couple of technical hitches. We've lost Henry too but luckily found drunken current olympic high jump champion Ivan Uhkov in the studio next door filming a segment for a pilot of a remake of Noel's House Party and he's agreed to help out.

I AM INVIGILATRON, HEAR ME ROAR.

Yes Nyphur, yes you will have time. I understand the deadline is very loose due to utter laziness on the part of our Quiz Division slaves.

If that's everything, I'm going to return to being dead. Cheerio.

Indeed. I have muchly enjoyed this quiz. Thanks to the research slaves and their masters for this excellent diversion.

I is positively overflowing with anticipation!
