Brooklands New Years Day Gathering

Any one else fancy this? Thoroughly recommend it. I went last year and despite terrible weather it was well worth it:

There was an excellent mix of high end classics and ropey stuff held together with tape and wob. Probably the most interesting selection of cars I've seen together ever. And you get to park on the banking. I'll be there from about 9am, so if you're going to be there and want to say 'Hi' drop me a pm before the day or something. Also the bacon rolls are good, there's planes, a bus museum, old bicycles and sheds of old cars.

If the weather is good me and the whole family will be there. Prob take the Elan in this year, so I should be quite easy to find.

This was absolutely awesome. I reckon a better day out than NEC Classic car show because there were billions of stuff. Apparently one of the marshal ladies said there were over 1100 old cars counted in.

Will add photos to my chod spotting thread presently. I didn't take pix of them all.

It was good to meet you! We disappeared shortly after, it started drizzling and the kids were moaning. .

Next year I will bring an appropriate car!
