Updates...

 

Almost everything is set for collection. Mr cms can no longer attend due to work so I have enlisted someone from work to fill the 3rd seat. Car was taxed (and reclassed from disabled to PLG) using the V5C/2 at my local GPO on Christmas Eve (whoodathunkit?) and shall be phoning the insurance tomorrow as well to make sure everything is ready. The manny selling will be contacted nearer the pickup date to arrange collection.

 

The route home from Brighton will be A23-M23-M25-M40-M42-M6-A74(M)-M74 with the possible use of the M6 Toll depending on traffic around Brum so if anyone wants to stand at the side of the road like those bus and truck nutters you see lurking then feel free to give us a wave.

 

A LIEV KOLLEKSHUN thread will be started in due course too and rml2345 will be shouted at all the way home whenever some internet is present in order to document the trip. Of course a proper writeup will be conducted upon my return in the usual stylee.

Sounds fantastic - looking forward to the writeup as always. Nice that it'll be going past it's native Coventry on the way to Scotlandshire too. Just a shame my dad's old 940S estate still hasn't been rescued from deepest Essex. It was a bloody good barge when he had it - sold it to the current owner who's using it as a shed from what I can see.
