Seems quite good for a free check!

What engine was in your old Land Rover?

'83 seems very late for the straight six...

Was an irish 1976 one, registered in 1983 in the uk.

By fuck I wish I had it now, and a welder and some enthusiasm!

The PNC check even works, heres a car that was stolen from my workplace last week.

After putting in both of the Volvos' registrations, I found out that The Wentworth was registered on December 11th 1992, something which I'd forgotten. Exactly 11 years later, I bought The Volvo. Double celebration! :D

Easier to use then the dvla site with more info is a win. Now it needs the insurance details to be bully's special prize

I've replaced my doovla favourite with this now! I agree, one more handy bit of info away from being perfect!

I use cartell.ie to get make and model from a registration, and dvla to get the rest so this site is pretty good, all in one place.

I thought the estimated mileage was based on MOT data, but it just seems to be based on age. My Peugeot is estimated at 4400miles, registered April, its done 13000 now. My 2009 Focus was estimated at 45000, I sold it in the summer with 105k on.

This site doesn't hold data as long as dvla though. Some of my old cars are just not listed, the dvla list them as untaxed.

It estimated my mileage as 234k, which is way off the 267 it really is!

What is a VIC marker? One of my cars is a Cat C but is says no VIC marker. Is that when it needs a check before going back on the road?

As above its not infallible, it didn't have a record of the invacar in Thailand in another thread but the dvla did
