Well this seems to sum up the general view more than adequately Belts have allegedly been done and also two new front tyres amongst some minor things and I think I can live with warning lights and without aircon. I didn't make a note of the phone number, but I should be going that way in a couple of weeks time so I'll do a bit of research in the meantime (classic insurance should be on). Btw price is £1395.

I would need proper proof of the belts being done - a shitty label on the belt cover is not enough.

 

Apparently fiat built the car around the pulleys on the five pot.
