There is a caravan site near to John O'Groats that supplied very necessary Bacon Butties in my hour of greatest need! Worst hangover ever and having to travel in the back of a Transit Minibus with 14 other similarly hung over people.

The last time I was there I'd been driving 10hrs a day for 4 days, plus mondo bieros..

Finally got the opportunity to have a good look round the Vectra for obvious (and not so obvious) issues. Overall not too bad, but there were a couple of PITAs

I don't think you'll achieve wonders with the handling with new tyres, from what I can remember the handling isn't all that clever on these anyway.

Yeah, most everyone says the same-all I'm aiming for is to go in my chosen direction when negotiating a roundabout at 15mph in the wet:)

After much frustration re the vectra not letting me remove its discs, I thought I better turn my attention to the Citroen CX, and catch up on the work I've done so far..

An Odd day yesterday at Fu'Gutty cars - took a Peugeot 205 diesel to Aberdeen for a chap I've never met. Still not met him as he stays in Shetland..
