All read. Liked the style and well written. A bit short on detail for me the far south reader, a route map would help.

The 735 is a fabulous buy too!

So what do you lot reckon to the i10 review? Was nice to have a car totally out my comfort zone to review.

If funds permit i may hire another car for a similar review in future

Like :-) .  I've commented, too - looks like you get to moderate the comments, which seems sensible.  (Can't 'like' on the blog itself as I don't have a Wordpress account, and CBA to register at the mo.)

Watch this space for a sizzling meet the fleet, and an update to the 735i saga..

I'll pop the links up once done:)

Like the i10 review. It looks like a much better small car than similar vehicles were 15/20 years ago. Air conditioning and a rev counter were almost unimaginable luxuries in anything smaller than a 3-series. And 50mpg ain't bad.

Looks like the stunning avensis is getting some lovvin on twitter- who'da thunk it could turn an SVM head or twa?

Bloody hell that leather looks like plastic - glad mine has cloth.

You are spot on about the driving characteristics. And yours is also the first rusty one I've ever seen.

Are you sure the autobox is only 3 speeds?

it may look like plastic- but it was ideal for my maw to pivot on with her dodgy leg prior to her hip op- so it served a practical purpose:)

I'm hoping a suspension refresh and possibly some Eibach springs may get it back to something approaching comfort.

Yep, selector goes P, R, N, D, 2,1 . It has an overdrive in 3rd though- via a torque converter lockup

Liked the i10 review. A good small hatchback can be quite an endearing thing. A bad one is utter misery right enough.

Glad the 32 woes aren't too serious. You'll have to bring it to a Scotoshite some time and let us gawp at it.

It was the intention to bring the 735 to the last one. With luck it'll make the next one:)

Excellent news, E32s seem to have reached a stage of being scrapped for minor stuff.

More coffee from your brother and you will manage!

I took the sensible step of leaving the back seat out so its just a 5 bolt job..

Then i'll need to get under it and see what it'll need for an mot. Never ending these auld corrs

Having read that last entry back just now- its a bit different from my previous stuff.

I'm a bit surprised- odd what pops into your had on the train to work..
