Another weekend, another thread of show photos...

Hello again, Today there was a large show at Stonham Barns here in Suffolk, Every year there's always a large variety of cars and this year was no exception, I think about 700 vehicles were booked in although the rubbish British weather knocked a number of those on the head.

 

I organised a club stand for the FB group that i run which went well,, we had 23 cars on the stand, mostly Fords typically, which I was happy with.

 

Anyway here's some photos for you.

 

We started off meeting in a burger king car park before conveying down which was fun.

 

 

 

And the stand once we arrived.

 

 

My mate's Allegro, he's just bought that Princess for £300 what i posted the other day, The plan is to weld it up and turn it into a fake taxi, he found the sign today for £10...

 

 

This 2000E was a minter.

 

 

 

The owner of this wasn't small and took up the whole interior.

My first thought when looking at the Chevette saloon pic was the star prize on 3-2-1

This was actually a 2.0 but it's really tidy, shame about the trims. It sold for £1200 during the day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This was mint and only covered 19000 miles from new.

This Alfa 155 has just been fitted with a Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo engine running 250 bhp!.

I like the pale blue Acclaim CD and the white R25 GTX.
 
Also - the Allegro/Tesco Value logo is nicely pulled off ('Breakdown Guaranteed' )
 
Is the red Talbot Solara the one that was on Auto Trader(?) a while back for something like £395(?).
EDIT - just checked. No - it wasn't that one.

Some real HONEYZ in there, as well as some rather ill-advised wheel choices.  I really like the unrestoredness of the 65 Mustang and its Ford F-truck friend, and likewise the blue Mk1 Escort estate.

 

Note correct positioning of the side trim on the Tina 2000E!

The XR3 A510NEV lived/lives round the corner from me, had put a "ring me when/if for sale" note onit.
